• 2 baton: High-low 1 turn; side to side left toss, right toss, catch right to back then catch flash catch left to the front; horizontal/vertical combination with illusion
• 3 baton: Vertical box with one turn at the end; 4 horizontal box juggles; 4 vertical juggles into high toss backhand flash around

• Application online due 4/1/26 with school acceptance letter, letter of recommendation, and audition fee
• Video submission due 4/4/26 at 5pm: Video 1- Introduction & Technical Skills; Video 2- Individual Routine under 2 minutes
• Attire:
  • Female candidates- Black leotard, tights, dance/baton shoes
  • Male candidates- Tank top/dance top of choice, shorts or pants, dance/baton shoes
• Email invitations for live auditions will be sent by 4/10/26.

• Double illusion
• Toss walkover (double preferred)
• Side aerials or butterflies
• 2 baton (showers, hi/lo material, dual pattern, double toss)
• 3 baton (three different modes including pendulums, cascades and time tosses)
• Rolls (fishtails, continuous back neck spins, long arms, Fujimi’s)
• Dance skills
• A great smile and presence on the field as well as a strong sense of teamwork and professionalism.

• Single and multiple baton stationary tricks

• Must have applied to the University
• Feature Twirler auditions held immediately after the line is selected. Must be selected for the 2026 line in order to try out for Feature Twirler. Candidates should have an additional solo routine not to exceed 2:30 and may include multiple batons.
